Get to know Michelle
As a Legal Assistant at Everbright Legacy Law, Michelle is often a client’s first point of contact. She answers calls, schedules appointments and phone conferences, monitors client files, and ensures every communication is responded to promptly.
Michelle creates a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable speaking with her.
Those who know Michelle well describe her as:
- Approachable: She easily builds rapport with clients, helping them feel comfortable and confident.
- Driven: She is motivated to meet and exceed her goals and to continuously improve the client experience.
- Confident: She handles challenging situations with poise and provides solutions that meet client expectations.
Michelle has always valued family, and this field allows her to help others care for theirs. Being part of a process that brings peace of mind to clients and their loved ones is deeply meaningful to her.
She is motivated by knowing her work helps people feel more at ease about their future. It may look like paperwork, but it brings real peace of mind to families when it matters most.
As the mother of three neurodiverse children, Michelle actively supports Autism Speaks, the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM), and the Autism National Committee.
Michelle considers her greatest accomplishment something that isn’t always visible: showing up every day with love, patience, and the willingness to keep going no matter what.
A quote that captures her philosophy: “Have courage and be kind.”
Her next personal challenge is learning to pour the same level of care into herself and finding balance while still being there for others. The current book on her shelf is “Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius.
Seven words that describe her: patient, compassionate, resilient, dependable, selfless, nurturing, and strong. One thing most people don’t know about her is that Spanish is her first language, something that’s hard to tell because she lost her accent long ago.
When she’s not working, Michelle enjoys being outdoors, traveling, arts and crafts with her kids, and dancing.
