Get to know Tami
As an Elder Care Coordinator at Everbright Legacy Law, Tami walks alongside families to help them navigate the health care system. She educates clients on disease progression and how to prepare for needing additional assistance as they age, and she advocates for and supports clients and families through life’s transitions.
Those who know Tami well describe her as:
- Hardworking: She always goes the extra mile to find an answer or a solution.
- Compassionate: After 26 years in hospice care, she brings deep awareness and compassion to those suffering during a difficult time.
- Proficient: She is skilled and competent in working with the older generation and the issues that accompany aging.
Tami’s grandmother was her biggest inspiration, an excellent listener who never judged anyone and was always willing to help someone in need.
Having worked in healthcare her entire life, Tami hopes to use her knowledge and experience to educate others and ease some of the burdens and frustrations families encounter.
Tami proudly supports veterans through TAPS, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
Among her proudest accomplishments are raising her three children and running three half marathons.
A quote that captures her philosophy: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present.” (Eleanor Roosevelt)
Her next goal is to hike the Dolomites in Italy. The book on her shelf is “Strong Ground” by Brené Brown.
Seven words that describe her: compassionate, advocate, supportive, resourceful, kind, resilient, and empowering.
When she’s not working, Tami enjoys walking, lifting weights, exploring new trails with her husband on their e-bikes, traveling, hiking, visiting the National Parks, and spending time with family and friends.
