Get to know Tami
As a Trust Funding Paralegal at Everbright Legacy Law, Tami helps ensure clients’ trusts are properly funded and their assets are correctly titled. She works alongside clients to compile asset documents and then organizes and prepares the funding and financial paperwork sent to financial institutions on their behalf, simplifying what can be a complex part of the estate planning process.
Tami’s working style is supportive and collaborative.
Those who know Tami well describe her as:
- Considerate: She is kind to everyone she meets.
- Diligent: She is determined to complete each task in a timely fashion.
- Optimistic: She looks forward to the future and prefers not to dwell on the negative.
Tami was working in another paralegal role for the firm when this opportunity arose. After filling in temporarily, she was offered the position by the founding attorneys and accepted, eager to support the team, expand her knowledge of trust funding, and contribute to the firm’s success.
She is motivated by trust in her team and the meaningful, interesting, and challenging work they do together for clients.
Tami is a strong believer in self-care and makes regular trips to the gym a priority, recognizing how important it is to care for yourself amid everyday stress.
A quote that captures her philosophy: “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.” (Nora Roberts)
She is currently focused on her health through nutrition and exercise as she works toward her fitness goals.
Seven words that describe her: caring, trustworthy, dependable, honest, hardworking, determined, and responsible. She also has a strong background in retail, having worked at Herberger’s and IKEA for many years.
When she’s not working, Tami enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, yardwork, watching Minnesota Vikings games, listening to music, and taking barre and group fitness classes.
