Get to know Sarah
Sarah Sicheneder is the founder of Everbright Legacy Law PLLC, where her practice areas are estate planning, wills, estate and trust administration, and guardianship and conservatorship cases. She is passionate about helping people and is dedicated to guiding her clients through the process of identifying core issues to find optimal solutions for their situations, ultimately providing them with peace of mind.
In addition to her legal work, Sarah gives back to the community by volunteering at Tubman, Minnesota’s largest provider of domestic violence shelter services, as well as Wills for Heroes, an organization that offers free legal services to our nation’s first responders.
Those who know her best describe Sarah as:
- Independent: She is always willing to take on big projects by herself, confident in her inner strength to overcome any obstacle, and she doesn’t stop until she finds the right solution to any problem.
- Passionate: She cares deeply about helping others and has an innate desire to support those who are alone, downtrodden, or in difficult situations. Sarah is a champion of the underdog, fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves.
- Sharp: Sarah quickly understands complex issues. She has the ability to sift through noise and unnecessary details to get to the core of problems. Her strategic approach allows her to visualize multiple scenarios and their outcomes, ultimately helping her find the best solutions.
Sarah chose to become an elder law attorney because her father was one. She has always admired his unwavering dedication to those who trusted him with their problems. Witnessing his work made her realize that attorneys have the power to significantly impact people’s lives.
She is particularly empathetic towards individuals with special needs, as her uncle was disabled. Watching her family’s compassion and dedication to treating him with respect shaped her commitment to ensuring that those with disabilities are treated empathetically.
One of Sarah’s greatest accomplishments is fostering a tiny Chihuahua mix through a local dog rescue. When the dog arrived, they discovered she was pregnant. Despite having no experience caring for an expecting mother or delivering puppies, Sarah and her husband decided to take on the challenge. They successfully helped deliver all five puppies at home and raised them for nearly three months before they were ready for adoption, including the mother dog. This experience was both challenging and rewarding, and Sarah is proud to have provided a safe environment for a scared first-time mom.
Sarah is committed to making a difference in her community by utilizing her talents, skills, and education. In addition to her work with Tubman and Wills for Heroes, she is active in various volunteer efforts.
“Now is not the time to panic,” she often says, reminding others to remain calm in difficult situations.
Her next challenge is to complete an Olympic-length triathlon.

One thing most people don’t know about Sarah is that she studied art and museum law in law school. She loves art and enjoys visiting museums in every city or country she explores.
When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys gardening, taking walks with her dogs, practicing Pilates, training for triathlons, riding her bike, spending time at her family cabin, kayaking, playing board games, attending concerts, and collecting vinyl records.
