Get to know Joshua
Joshua is the son of a retired Air Force veteran and grew up in Dayton, Ohio. He double-majored in Psychology and International Studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, before attending law school at the University of South Carolina. While in law school, he clerked at a real estate transactions law firm in Columbia, South Carolina, where he gained practical experience and knowledge about the complexities of real property, and was also exposed to the world of litigation.
After law school, Joshua gained further legal experience by working with bankruptcy and insurance defense law firms. In 2021, he relocated to Litchfield, Minnesota, and practiced at general practice firms where he handled real estate, estate planning, and probate cases. His estate planning and probate experience expanded while working with a firm in Mankato, Minnesota. Joshua is happy and excited to be serving the communities of Richfield and the Twin Cities area in Minnesota.
From an early age, Joshua knew he wanted a career that involved interacting with and serving people. He enjoys practicing law because it allows him to use his knowledge and training to help individuals and families navigate everyday problems. When he is not working hard for his clients, Joshua enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Those who know him well describe him as:
- Upbeat: He likes to see the glass as half full and strives to radiate positive energy.
- Determined: He is goal-oriented and task-driven. If someone tells him to do something, he will complete it to the best of his ability.
- Resourceful: He seeks different ways to meet the needs of clients.
Joshua chose to become an attorney because he wanted a career that would allow him to help people and solve problems using his knowledge and training. He believes in treating others well, as being kind is a wonderful legacy to leave behind. He is inspired by the belief that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him.
His greatest accomplishment is being nominated for Outstanding Sophomore of the Year while attending Case Western Reserve University. He is making a difference by meeting the needs of his clients.
You can quote him on two phrases he often uses: “You’re going to be fine” or “It depends.”
His next challenge is to work every day to be the best advocate he can be. On his bookshelf is a book titled “My Name is Barbra” by Barbra Streisand.
Seven words that describe Joshua are: adaptable, friendly, persistent, caring, understanding, resilient, and dedicated.
One thing most people don’t know about him is that he has traveled to 32 U.S. states and 17 countries, and the count is still growing.
When he’s not working, Joshua enjoys watching TV, reading, baking, and cuddling with his pets.
